Frequently Asked Questions

So you've decided to invest in a air conditioning but aren't quite sure where to begin.... let us help you decide which system is best suited for your specific needs and budget.

How do i choose the correct system?

Purchasing or should we rather say INVESTING in a Air Conditioning system can be a bit of a challenge if you've never bought one before. Here we have some frequently asked questions when people purchase a air con unit from us.

How do i measure my room size?

Multiply the length and width together. Once both measurements are converted into meters, multiply them together to get the measurement of the area in square meters. Use a calculator if necessary. For example: 2.35m x 1.08m = 2.538 square meters (m2).

How do i know what size aircon i need for my room?

For a room of approximately

0 to 20 m²:  We recommend a 9000 BTU Unit

20 to 25 m²: We Recommend a 12 000 BTU Unit

30 to 35 m²: We recommend a 18 000 BTU Unit

40 to 45 m²: We recommend a 24 000 BTU Unit

55 to 60 m²: We recommend a 30 000 BTU Unit

What is the difference between a Inverter (Variable Speed) and None Inverter (Fixed Speed) AC Unit?

The main difference between an inverter and non-inverter AC lies in their compressor speed. An inverter AC has a variable speed compressor, while a non-inverter AC has a fixed speed compressor. Variable speed compressors are more energy efficient than their fixed counterparts and make less noise as well.

Do Air Conditioning systems Heat During Winter?

The simple answer is YES! Air Conditioning systems have five main functions. 1. Cooling 2. Air Filtration 3. Dehumidifying the air in the room 4. Heating 5. Air Circulation (Fan mode) Many people are unaware of the fact that their air conditioning system offers them a all in one solution to any climate condition all year round and is far more efficient at heating or cooling than traditional methods such as oil heater, bar heaters, gas heaters, fan heaters and so forth. Simply set your desired room temp and set your system to Auto and let your air con take care of the rest.
